United Kingdom

In 2014 from October till December I did a Tango residency at Internationally famous dance studios DanceWorks and Dance Attic. A great experience working with some very good students.
Dance evenings for International Students House, London. I began courses in Latin dances for West Herts College, Stanmore College and also work for YMCA centres local to Watford. SalsaDuende also ran the first hotel run Salsa weekend in England at the Royal Pier Hotel, Sandown in 1999 and then ran a Salsa weekend at the prestigious Hotel Piccadilly in Bournemouth for August 2000. I have run dance parties for silver weddings, corporate functions e.g. Glaxo UK, Action Computers and a regularly participated in Watford Council events since 1995 Latest projects At present I am running a regular course on Sunday nights in Watford where I specialise in Salsa for beginners and advanced students. Some of my time is taken up with private lessons some of whom I can’t name, however, I was teaching former top model and writer, Jilly Johnson and husband Ashley ; Jive and Argentine Tango which they did very well.
I also taught Cherie Blair and daughter Katherine in my class at Champneys in July 2006. They were good fun and did very well. Until 2008 I was the official Latin dance teacher for international health centre “Champneys” in Tring Hertfordshire, where I ran a regular dance evenings most. I have run a dance night for the SIGNPOST charity in Watford and we had a fun evening teaching Salsa and Merengue for many of the hard working volunteers.

This year will be some more Argentine dance workshops in and around Watford.
Training :
I have studied Salsa, Lambada, and Argentine Tango with some of the most experienced teachers in the world. I spent over one year training with Elder Sanchez (Salsotecha) and learned Lambada with Brazilian dancer Karinna Rebello for a year.
I continue to study Argentine Tango with a variety of top professionals both here and overseas.In 2002, I had several private classes with Tamar Parada, recognised as one of the foremost teachers and dancers in the world.
I had some lessons in Bachata in Dominican Republic with local bailador, Jose in 2003.
In July/August 2005 I went to Buenos Aires to study Tango and to give Salsa lessons. I went to many teachers and was enthused with methods for Tango teaching.
Company Aims
To promote the study of Latin American dance in the authentic style. I aim to teach with fun and help students achieve their full potential.on. I believe that dancing is a wonderful hobby that can be enjoyed by everyone.
My aim is to develop all my students to the best of their ability in a fun and relaxed way.
